Cut

The Cut series, in development since 2019, focuses on capturing fleeting moments in the creative process. The fabric-like forms of the ceramic bodies reflect the spontaneous movements inherent in my sculpting process, using soft Nerikomi clay slabs. Each piece carries the traces of the many moments and efforts embedded in its creative process. Since its first public exhibition in 2020, Cut series has been continuing to evolve, with new explorations in scales and colours.
